Hi… I’m bewildered, befuddled, confused, confuddled. Yes a new word, a new word to explain and understand my prickly pickle

Lovely lady, J Blaide over a week ago you nominated me for the sunshine blogger award.

I was blown away, tickled pink, over the moon. Yes delightfully delighted. I set about my response in my mind. Life is crazy busy for me right now.

I moved that weekend, so it was a few days before I actually put pen to paper, or more to the point, finger to iPad.

I wrote, I answered my questions, I banged out 11 more question for my new nominations. I was on a roll.

All good. What’s the problem? Me. I’m the problem.

Firstly I think it is fairly obvious I’m new to WordPress. So my puzzlement begins. “Oh dear” I do not know many people on WordPress. 🤪 This is going to be a tad harder than first thought. That’s okay, that’s okay, I’ve got this!

Secondly a few days of spasmodic speed reading of blogs from people I do not know. How did I find these people? I searched a word and browsed what came up.

Okay I’m taking you back a few steps now. One of J Blaides questions in the sunshine blog nominations was,” do you view or read”. My answer was I view and look for a hook to grab me and then I devour.

JBlaide for the record I devoured your site. Awesome, love, funny, entertaining and fabulous. Congratulations wonderful lady. Very clever, you are. ❤️

Forward a few steps again, back to my spasmodic readings of unknown bloggers. Between my crazy week with work and planning a 3 week holiday, I read, searched, I loved.

All good, “ again, what’s her problem you ask”. Well if you can imagine my screwed up crying face. 😩😝😫😖

I can’t bloody workout how to put my nominated names into my blog.

Seriously I have been trying since last Friday. I can get the full site address name in, on checking other nominees, they only have the name. Grrrr. What am I doing wrong? I research. I learn about the LINK. Fabulous I’m on it. NUP.

I did get one up, yippee. However, on making my second link it replaced the first link. What the? 🤪 NO. NO. NO. NO. I had to walk away.

Now I will tell you the funniest part. You won’t believe me. No you won’t!

Do you know what I did when I left school? Computer science. Yes! I was in IT for many years. Are you laughing? I am. 😂😂😂😂

I pride myself on being very computer literate. So what has happened to me? Sadly, I may know this answer, I’m turning into my mum.. yep laughing again. 🤣

So please excuse my ignorance JBlaide. I so wanted to respond and be part of my new little WordPress world. If everyone, my fellow computer literate bloggers, can please bear with me, I will improve with practice or maybe after a few lessons. Perhaps from my kids. Hmmmm. It’s official, I have become my Mum. Asking my kids to help me. Hahha. I love it. Luckily she is one of the most adored and admirable people I have ever met, even if she can’t use a computer. I may possibly be quiet for a few weeks. Ask me why? I’m off on an adventure. 3 weeks of fun, sunshine& travel. I truly doubt I’ll get much time to write while I’m away but I will have plenty to write on my return. However, I will be reading all your blogs as my bedtime reading. I look forward to it.
